How has the price of fuel affected your philosophy on zoning and development characteristics for communities far from the urban core?
Adams County encourages in-fill development in areas of the County that already have infrastructure. The philosophy also promotes improving existing older neighborhoods. At the same time, the County respects property owners’ rights in the rural areas to develop their land as they choose as long as the development fits with the County’s Comprehensive Plan.
